Managed to squeeze the relatively new CompTIA Server+ (SK0-004) certification exam in my busy “Spring Break” schedule. Thoughts are CompTIA needs to add regor to this exam. Most of the questions are short, with short multiple choice answer choices that lack quality distractors (wrong answers). I took my time, and suspect I could have answered all 100 questions in less than 30 minutes. A bit of a letdown, having recently taken the Network+ exam that was considerably more challenging.

Perhaps this evidences itself based upon my score (889 out of a possible 900) and the fact that I did not study. Based upon the list of incorrect answers, I can tell you that one of the two questions that is identified was a poorly worded and I pondered which “correct” answer was appropriate.

I need to get back to NetApps training. Problem is the availability of time.
